เพื่อเป็นศูนย์เรียนรู้และฝึกอบรมเกษตรสมัยใหม่ เชื่อมโยงเทคโนโลยี การผลิต และตลาด ตลอดจนเร่งแก้ไขปัญหาการส่งออกน้ำเชื่อมไปยังสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน และส่งเสริมความร่วมมือบทบาทศูนย์ AFC ในการเชื่อมโยงข้อมูลและประสานความร่วมมือเพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาสินค้าเกษตรล้นตลาดและราคาตกต่ำ\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>2. การพัฒนาด้านประมงและอุตสาหกรรมต่อเนื่อง โดยได้เสนอแนวทางเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของอุตสาหกรรมอาหารทะเลแช่เยือกแข็ง ผ่านการแก้ไขปัญหาวัตถุดิบขาดแคลน การอำนวยความสะดวกในการนำเข้าวัตถุดิบเพื่อแปรรูปและส่งออก การพัฒนาระบบตรวจสอบย้อนกลับ การยกระดับมาตรฐานสินค้าเกษตรและอาหารฮาลาล รวมถึงการบริหารจัดการ Food Loss และ Food Waste โดยส่งเสริมการกระจายอาหารส่วนเกินที่ปลอดภัย การพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์จากวัสดุเหลือใช้ และการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>6. การพัฒนาด้านปศุสัตว์และแปรรูป โดยเสนอการยกระดับเกษตรกรผู้เลี้ยงโคเนื้อในกลุ่มจังหวัดภาคอีสานใต้ ผ่านการพัฒนามาตรฐานฟาร์ม ลดต้นทุนอาหารสัตว์ เพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการผลิต และเชื่อมโยงตลาดเนื้อโคคุณภาพ ขณะเดียวกันมุ่งเพิ่มผลผลิตโคนม ลดต้นทุนการเลี้ยง พัฒนาระบบบริหารจัดการสมดุลน้ำนมดิบ และส่งเสริมการแปรรูปผลิตภัณฑ์นมมูลค่าสูง การส่งเสริมการรับรองมาตรฐาน GAP สำหรับฟาร์มปลาน้ำจืด และการแก้ไขปัญหาการนำเข้าลูกกุ้ง โดยให้เร่งเสนอแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาด้านสุขอนามัยสัตว์ภายในสัปดาห์ถัดไป and Mr. Amorntep Tawepanich, Executive Director of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, to meet with Mr. Rapeepat Chandrasrivongs, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, and of Commerce presented six key areas for agricultural reform and development:\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan>1. Revitalising Thailand’s Agriculture and Food Sectors\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan>The proposal aims to advance the Reinvent Thailand agenda for agriculture and food, strengthening competitiveness through innovation, technology adoption, and market integration. Key initiatives include developing the Bang Tanai Model Smart Farm as a demonstration and training centre for modern agriculture, connecting technology, production, and markets.\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan>The Chamber also called for expedited resolution of barriers affecting syrup exports to the People’s Republic of China and stronger collaboration through the AFC mechanism to improve information sharing and coordination in addressing agricultural oversupply and falling farm-gate prices.\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan>2. Advancing Fisheries and Related Industries\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan>To strengthen the competitiveness of Thailand’s frozen seafood industry, the Chamber proposed addressing raw material shortages, facilitating the importation of processing inputs for re-export, and enhancing traceability systems.\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan>It also recommended upgrading freshwater fish farming standards, particularly for catfish and pla yeesok (a native freshwater carp), to improve product quality, expand export opportunities, and access international markets.\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan>3. Increasing the Value of Agricultural Crops, Particularly Fruits and Vegetables\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan>The Chamber emphasised the need for a more responsive management system for Thai fruits, aligned with production volumes and market demand. Priority actions include removing logistical and export bottlenecks for fruit shipments to China, strengthening product traceability, and improving cross-border data connectivity.\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan>Additional proposals include reducing fertiliser and input costs through diversified import sources, promoting domestic fertiliser production, and encouraging alternative energy use in the agricultural sector.\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan>4. Developing Major Economic Crops and Bio-Based Industries\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan>The Chamber proposed promoting the use of domestically produced ethanol and expanding markets for bio-based products. This approach would link feedstocks from sugarcane, molasses, and cassava with the renewable energy and bio-based industries.\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan>The objective is to create additional markets for agricultural produce, increase the value of domestic raw materials, and support sustainable, long-term income growth for farmers.\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan>5. Developing Processed Foods and Future Food Industries\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan>Thailand should strengthen its position as a regional Food Security Hub by promoting the use of domestic agricultural raw materials, developing high-potential crops and herbs, and raising agricultural and halal food standards.\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan>The Chamber also highlighted the importance of addressing food loss and food waste through the safe redistribution of surplus food, the development of products from residual materials, and the advancement of a circular economy.\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan>6.
