1,064,242 ตัน เพิ่มขึ้น 12% จากปีที่แล้ว (947,140 ตัน) และภาคเหนือมีพื้นที่เพาะปลูกราว 1,243,784 ไร่ ซึ่งลำไยออกสู่ตลาดมากที่สุดช่วงเดือนสิงหาคม ราว 422,400 ตัน หรือ 57% ของผลผลิตช่วงฤดู โดยปัจจุบันเกษตรกรผู้ปลูกลำไยในภาคเหนือได้รับผลกระทบจากราคาผลผลิตที่ตกต่ำ ส่งผลต่อรายได้และสภาพคล่องของครัวเรือนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ หลายรายประสบปัญหาขาดทุนและแบกรับภาระต้นทุนการผลิตที่สูงขึ้น
